I passed on Djas Puhr (Jasper? c'mon!) the first few times I saw him. Something about him was too "Star Trek" for my tastes. Maybe it was the big head on the humanoid body. Maybe it was the fact that the character is SO obscure that the picture of him on the package is the one shot of him from the entire saga (I'm not even sure he survived the "Special Edition"). I finally bit last week. I was in a buying mood and he was the only figure I found in three different stores that I didn't already have.
I'm really glad I finally got him. Out of the package (yes, I'm an opener) he looks really good. Nice paint, nifty sculpt--though he DOES fall over easily without a stand, the guns are a bit flimsy but they fit well into his holsters, and he looks really cool hanging out with the rest of the freaks in the Cantina.
Maybe it is more of a figure for the collectors out there but we collector types spend a lot of money on this particular obsession so kudos to Hasbro for making one for the big kids.
