(More customer reviews)My son was very disappointed in this light saber - it's not spring open at the push of a switch like the others, and the color barely shows at all - it would have to be pitch dark to glow green or red, otherwise it's just a cheap clear light saber. It makes noise, but only if you push a button on the side which is not easy to find when using it as a light saber - the big push button merely opens the sith spikes which are no big deal and seem pretty cheaply made. The force action light sabers are much better than this one and seem to be of a better quality than this one.

Star Wars Darth Revan Mighty Muggs Review

(More customer reviews)Sure, the actual Darth Revan is known for his ability to dodge doom at the hands of Jedi and even his own apprentice if need be, but this is just a toy.
I keep Revan on top of my television because hey, why not, but my cat - clearly seeking to throw the Sith into upheaval so she can take over, knocks him down with an angry splat every time she sees him.
So far, there has been absolutely no damage, though Revan has occasionally gone into hiding for his own safety (or to raise a secret army to overthrow Darth Felis). Revan has survived moves, being jammed inappropriately in a toybox with Star Trek toys, falls from great heights, Silly String battles, and bathtime with a kindergartner. He's even managed to play My Little Pony with said kindergartner with no loss of face - only the most powerful Sith Lords could accomplish such a thing.

(More customer reviews)If I had to pick the best all-time 12" two pack, without a doubt I would choose this two pack. The Darth Maul is very cool, but not my favorite. The head sculpt is a bit sub-par, first of all since the neck is too long. The expression on his face is perfect. The horns are too short, though. He looks tramatized, well, you would be too if you were falling down an endless hole with your body severed. The break in half feature is awsome. It is about time the big H did this. The saber split is alright, but the saber doesn't hold together too well. As forthe Darth Vader, I was more than pleased with it. I got an electronic Vader/ Obi wan two pack at Kb recently. I was very dissapointed with the migit Vader that had a cheap cape and a tiny head. I could not find the 14" electronic Vader, so I found an alternative. The head may look oversized, but it is actually near perfect. The dome is just too long in the back. Otherwize, It is 100% perfect! the outfit, features, and sculpt are totally cool. Thin figure is also interesting because it still has the battery compartment and speaker of the electronic version. In conclusion, buy it, or you will never forgive yourself.

The likeness of both figures is spot on, if only the paint jobs were more like the the photos on the box, but still great figures nonetheless. The costumes and all accessories are nothing short of amazing just as sideshow continues to do with all its figures. Star wars fans and general collectors should def get this figure.

Everything is in perfect scale, with all kinds of little details. It's almost like having a maquette from the movie - a perfect scale model of the costume and details. Push the stomach and he talks from the movie.
The sculpt on this is excellent, it is highly posable, comes with extra hands for even more posing options, has the 'padawan evaluator screen' and of course his purple lightsaber. He even looks annoyed - really capturing the character of Mace Windu.
If you are looking to be the ultimate present for a Star Wars fan, ANY of these highly detailed figures would suit. They truly are one of the best Star Wars items we've ever purchased and make a display that always draws attention. Just for the intricately detailed clothing, made with muslin just like the actual costumes from the movie, make this worth the purchase price.

Star Wars Starfighter Vehicle Sith Infiltrator Review

(More customer reviews)This is easily one of the best Star Wars vehicles Hasbro has made yet. Of course, it's awesome as the only example of a true Sith ship we ever see in the films. However, Hasbro did a particularly good job. I really appreciate the fact that Hasbro did not sacrifice the design or dimensions of the ship just so it could fit a figure. I hated how the old Millennium Falcon had a huge cockpit and relatively tiny hull. By contrast, this ship almost looks like a model and is a nearly perfect replica of the one from the movie.
Having said that, there is a "hidden missile launcher" when you pull open the hull. I guess this is for kids, but even when I was a kid I hated when Hasbro added these types of features on vehicles. Fortunately, if you keep the hull closed, it's fairly inconspicuous. I just pretend it doesn't exist.
I did see that other reviewers complained about the size of the ship. All I have to say is: get real. Hasbro is not going to make a huge version of this ship - the company knows not enough people would pay for it. This ship is rare enough to find and costs a good deal secondhand (I got mine off eBay for a reasonable price, but many are sold for double what I paid). So, no, the ship is NOT scale to the Darth Maul figure. HOWEVER, as a fan of the old action fleet line, it is scale to the action fleet figures. Thus, you could just use it as a ship versus, say, the Naboo Starfighter or the droid fighters. I don't even bother to put my Darth Maul figure in the cockpit (which is basically just grey).
Overall, definitely get this ship if you are a fan of Star Wars vehicles - or if you have fond memories of the action fleet line.

(More customer reviews)This is a really cool thing to own if you're a big Star Wars fan. I got it in the mail a few days ago and have been having fun with it since.
The metal hilt is very durable and well constructed. It's not an exact movie replica, the hilt is a little bigger than the ones they used in the movies because of all the electronics they had to stuff in there. But it's not overly huge or anything, like those cheap $15 you can buy at any toy store.
The blade is just awesome. The bright blue shines and glows even in well lit environments. But when you turn off all the lights and turn it on, it just looks really cool the way it glows in the dark. I thought it was also cool how when you turn it on or off, you can see the glow of the blade expanding and retracting as if it was a "real" lightsaber.
Now as someone else said, this isn't really the type of toy you just want to go around swinging madly and stage your own Anakin VS Obi-Wan fights (even though it will make a clashing noise when the blade is tapped). That's not to say it's not durable, because it is very well constructed, but I just don't think it would be wise to go bashing the blade into stuff.
It sounds really awesome too, just like in the movies. And the batteries (it takes 3 AA batteries [not included]) are quick and easy to install, you don't even need a screwdriver or anything.
I really see this as more of a collector's item (it even comes with a stand to proudly display it), something to show off to your friends, or maybe as a really good costume piece for halloween. I'm a bit of a sword collector myself, so I kind of see this as a nice addition to my collection.
If you've ever wanted to know what it feels like to hold the power of a lightsaber in your hand, this is probably the closest thing you're ever gonna get.

It's pretty basic - as the previous reviewer points out, it lacks accessories of any kind (my son gives Darth Sidious Vader's lightsaber at need). The robes are not quite black but are kind of bluish and black and not evenly colored and I'm not sure if this is intentional or not.
For a figure who comes with nothing and is basically un-poseable (he doesn't stand well either) he brings a great deal of joy to my son and is one of his most played with figures. He's also pretty durable since there is nothing to break off.

Star Wars Basic Figure Darth Revan Review

(More customer reviews)I never saw this coming! It brought me great joy to have one of my favorite video game characters in action figure form. The figure of Revan is unfortunately male - for those of you who played Revan as a woman, petition for a variant.
Articulation is low especially in the leg area due to the "skirt". The cowl can be removed but all that gives you is a bald white head with a Sith Mask on so why bother?
Revan also comes with two Sith lightsabers - It's actually the same light-saber one lit, one un-lit depending upon your preference and the stand and 30th edition coin.
A definite must have that I had the most fortunate luck of finding.
Now if only there was a female variant.

Star Wars : The Legacy Collection Darth Vader Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this figure just the other day and I am so glad I did. What is so cool about it is that Vader's helmet comes off in two pieces, exactly like the unmasking scene in Return of the Jedi. What's better is his real face is detailed like the movie also. The only problem that I have is that his right hand doesn't hold his lightsaber well, if at all. I used some thin wire to wrap it around to fix that but I still think it was worth the buy. I like the cloth fabric they use for his cape better than just plastic also. So I think that any Star Wars fan should have this one in their collection, definately.

Star Wars Basic Figure Force Unleashed Maris Brood Review

(More customer reviews)The new Hasbro Maris Brood action figure was a must-grab when I spotted it on the shelf. Overall it's an eye-catching figure and the makers have done justice to her brooding appeal (pardon the pun). It's decently sculpted and painted.
The figure has a nice center of gravity so she stands up on her own well. Her arms articulate enough to allow her to hold her tofa-like lightsabers in various positions though unfortunately for Maris, they don't quite clear her elbows (ouch!). My only complaint (and it's a small one) is that she looks like she's frozen in a painful pose. I suppose it's supposed to enhance her feminine allure but I think she's going to require hip replacement surgery in her old age.
All said and done, I highly recommend the figure.
