(More customer reviews)The Star Wars Legacy Collection Nikto Gunner, Nysad from Return of the Jedi, who failed to hit Luke Skywalker when firing upon him during the Battle of Sarlacc and soon met his fate there, is now beautifully captured in action figure form by the folks at Hasbro. Highly detailed, even with dirtied up clothes, and super articulated right down to his ankles, the only minor complaint one can make about this excellent Jabba crony is that his helmet is easily knocked off. Not a problem if you want to display him, but still annoying. It stays in place when not messed with though, and we're at least happy that it is removable. Nikto Gunner comes with a blaster that fits perfectly in a hip holster, and also a big ol' Sail Barge side gun that he can even stand with if you lean him back a little. Of course, we hope that eventually we'll get a Sail Barge release to support it with. As an added bonus, this Nikto Gunner figure is part of the Build-a-Droid line, coming with the right leg of R5-C7. I recently was able to complete R5-C7, and he is a great little astromech droid (from Episode 2, Attack of the Clones, I believe). This Build-a-Droid gimmick is a great bonus to encourage adding to your collection, especially at today's prices, and it may not keep going forever, so snag them while you can!

(More customer reviews)Here we have Giran, the Nikto Guard who helped Malakili (the Rancor Keeper) care for the Rancor. He's the other Rancor Keeper, basically. This reptilian creature is captured truly remarkably by the folks at Hasbro, and I mean truly remarkably! The details on this one will truly awe you! so many tiny scales and horns, the wrinkles in his clothes and the studs on his armor, his removable hood and his force pike, it all looks absolutely perfect, and Giran is well articulated too. If you collect Star Wars figures, this one is a must, even if he is just a background character. The job they did on this particular figure is just too amazing. Definitely one of the best Star Wars figures I've ever seen. And, as an added bonus, Giran is part of the Build-a-Droid line, coming with the main body part (or torso, for lack of a better word) of R5-C7. I recently was able to complete R5-C7, and he is a great little astromech droid (from Episode 2, Attack of the Clones, I believe). This Build-a-Droid gimmick is a great bonus to encourage adding to your collection, especially at today's prices, and it may not keep going forever, so snag them while you can!

(More customer reviews)This was my very first Star Wars figure, and I have fond memories of it. However, looking back, he's a bit too small and thin for a Gamorrean. This is nice for collectors, but isn't very attractive. There is a newer Gamorrean figure that just came out, the Gamorrean Guard Return of the Jedi Black and Silver Vintage Action Figure, that looks beautiful.

Vintage Carded ROTJ Gamorrean Guard 79 Back-B 85 (C85 B85 F90) #18453847 - Actual Photo Brians Toys specializes in selling high quality vintage collectibles. These items are graded by a third party grading company called AFA, Action figure Authority. The vintage items are graded by the condition and overall appearance of the card, bubble and figure. The AFA Silver level consists of the grades 85, 80, and 75. The figures that receive these grades are in excellent condition. A figure graded an 85 will often be referred to as 'case fresh' and should be very close to gold level condition. The term 'case fresh' is certainly justifiable as the average figure pulled from a sealed case will grade an 85 due to small flaws which occur when the figures are packaged or shipped in the case. The average figure pulled from a store shelf is usually an 80, which represents a nice speciman with minor flaws apparent upon close inspection. The final Silver level grade, a 75, represents an item with more minor flaws than the average Silver level piece. An item grading 75 does have significant wear but does not have major flaws which would draw the eye to them at first glance. For most high grade collectors, an 85 is satisfactory. For most discriminating collectors, an 80 is satisfactory. A 75 will be satisfactory to those who are not overly concerned with light stresses, small bubble imperfections, and other flaws which do not jump out at first glance. Therefore, the Silver level grades do represent a much larger range than the Gold level grades.

Star Wars 2010 Revenge Of The Sith General Grievous 3-3/4 Inch Scale Vintage Style Action Figure - Foil Card Review

(More customer reviews)This is it: film accurate in scale with your other 3.75 Star Wars figures (he's BIG!), great poseability, and nicely detailed with a cloth sewn cape with eight sewn pockets for unextended lightsabres!
The figure has double joints in the knees, jointed at the ankles and has better poseability in the arms and wrists for just about any configuration.
The cape is sewn of two types of cloth with functional pockets for his extra stolen lightsabres! He comes with two extended and two unextended.
This is one of the nicest figures I've seen in a while by the Hasbro Star Wars team and a good value considering the detail and quality - they could have cheesed out on the cape and size again but they went all out to make this the definitive Grievous figure. I found mine at TRU yesterday.
Even if you despise the recent trilogy as I do this is a terrific figure of a nifty villainous character.

(More customer reviews)It's no secret that Jabba's guards, from Wooof to the Gamorrean Guard, are the best figures of the excellent VIntage line. The Weequay Skiff Master is no exception. The paint and detail are absolutely beautiful. The tunic looks appropriately sand-worn and dirty, even as the quilted quality is apparent. Even the pistol is of superior craftsmanship. The points of articulation are very well hidden. This guy puts the POTF2 Weequay to shame - and shows what wonders an update of that figure could do!
