(More customer reviews)We have had a lot of the "re-paints" recently, but this is one ship that I can honestly say it is worth every penny. The wings are the same from previously released Tie Interceptors, but the cockpit is completely renovated and very detailed. The Toys R Us exclusive is a bit more expensive, but for the detail they put not this ship they really outdid themselves. The cockpit is the same that is used on the target exclusive tie fighter. If you are a collector, add this ship to your fleet. No fleet is complete without this historic fighter. I would say for more adult collectors though.

It was a good kit, cleverly designed. Nothing too hard, but many small pieces. I'm sure he could have assembled it himself if we weren't filming it. My only knock is one for all big lego kits; would it kill them to bag them up in a way that corresponds with the directions (ie bag 1 for steps 1-4, bag 2 for steps 5-8, etc.)?

Action Figure Comic Packs Tales #22 Clone Commando and Super Battle Droid Review

The figure molds of the Super Battle Droid and Republic Commando SGT T-288 are exceptional, the RC figure is unqiue and distinct from the OMEGA Squad (of the novels) and DELTA Squad (of the video game) RC figures available in sets. This RC trooper comes with a gray colored visor, a unique backpack, one thermal grenade, and standard RC assault rifle. The comic is a good read about an RC mission (prior to Order 66) and you get an SB Droid for your Seperatists Army and the 9th available RC trooper for your spec ops clone platoon. It's a great deal for Star Wars fans and clone trooper fanatics!

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter Review

(More customer reviews)I've been collecting all the variants of the Jedi Starfighter from Revenge of the Sith, so I was very excited to finally see one in blue. I ordered it right away as the blue fighter was my favorite in the movie. When I got it, though, there were several things about it that disappointed me. First, the sticker sheet is obviously the exact same one from one of the Anakin starfighters as the stickers for the R2 unit are blue and white, not bronze like Obi-Wan's second astromech in the movie. The head, however, is molded in the proper color so with the stickers applied you have a mismatched droid with a bronze head and a blue and white body. Also, the included Obi-Wan figure seems to be the same one sold separately in the first wave of ROTS figures. He has the same slashing movement when you squeeze his legs and the same replaceable lightsaber hand. That would be fine, but my figure's right arm flops around limply, the pilot headset accessory doesn't even remotely fit on his head, and he doesn't fit well in the cockpit. Also, some of the blue paint around the cockpit is oversprayed onto the off-white behind it.
I'm glad to have this starfighter for the sake of completeness, but if you just want a toy version of the coolest starfighter yet, do yourself a favor and get either the yellow Anakin or red Obi-Wan fighter at a local store for five dollars less with no shipping.
