- Despite its small size, the detailing is excellent. The actual model has more noticeable color variations than what is pictured (i.e. it looks better than in the picture). But on the whole the picture is accurate.
- The ship comes with a small, heavy, black stand with a brass plate on the front printed with the name of the ship and issue number (unlike other collectibles I've seen where the issue number is just scribbled with a felt tip pen on the bottom).
Cons:
- There are a few small pieces that you need to attach to the ship- and glue is recommended- otherwise if you flip the ship upside down, it would just fall out. There is no reason why they could not have pre-glued those parts because there are other equivalent pieces that are glued. I guess they are trying to satisfy people who like their replicas to require some form of construction, however minimal.
On the whole an excellent replica, typical of the kind of quality you get from a Japanese company.
