(More customer reviews)I was never crazy about the lightning effect on this figure. It's not that noticeable even when you press the button to light it up. More importantly, it's not blue. Also, the figure has trouble standing up off it's base. I'd instead recommend some of the newer Palpatine figures have blue plastic "lightning" that actually looks more realistic.
