So far, I see no down sides to this action figure. It is fully articulated, like the clone troopers making for a lot of great poses. It's a shame that it spends so much time in the fighter. It looks a lot like Mark Hamill, although the eyes tend to look rolled up (I looked at a lot of figures in the store). It's also not muscle bound like the POTF version. There's lots of detail on the flight suit which doesn't limit its posing ability. The helmet is accurate, detailed and removable, and the visor is transparent. Luke comes with both an ignited and inactive light sabers. It's what previous pilot Lukes have been missing. Even though Luke probably wouldn't use a light saber in a cockpit, we have plenty of weaponless Jedi. The weapons locker is also welcome.
Unfortunately, with the helmet on, it's a tight fit when putting Luke into the Degobah X-wing fighter. Fortunately, nobody seems to notice the slouch. One more good thing about having an X-wing, the kids always put this one away.
