(More customer reviews)This is advertised as "all the style and precision details of an expensive statue at a fraction of the price!" Don't believe it. It came without a box or any packaging that would tell you anything about the maker. Just a sticker on the bottom.
CONS:It is not highly detialed.
True there is a lot of detail but it's painted in the detials in the mold.
The paint job looks like it was done by amateurs.
I thought it would be assembled with individually colored plastic pieces or at least professinally painted.
True to the ad image, R2 D2 is missing a leg and he leans to one side.
If you are looking for a highly detialed reproduction, skip this item.
PROS: As for it's use as a bank it is very well made.
The molded design is sturdy and very detialed and unmistakably R2 D2.
Solid plastic, 11" tall with 8" of that being storage space for money.
The coin slot is in the rear of R2's Head.
The extraction port is beneath the body.
I would recommend this item for it's size and design as a bank.
Also strong enough to use as a childs toy.
Overall I am happy with this item.
