(More customer reviews)This Jabba is based on the version in the original special edition of A New Hope. That version looked pretty pathetic, as if Jabba had lost 400 pounds, and is in fact no longer considered cannon. Likewise, this toy version isn't the greatest. Jabba only looks forward and can't recline on his side, as in Return of the Jedi. The skin is hard plastic, not the soft leathery feel of later versions. If you want a Jabba, I highly recommend the new 2010 version.
