There are 4 short Darth Vader sentences recorded that can be played back by pushing the buttons on the side of the pen. The sound quality so low and one can barely tell what Darth Vader is saying. The oversized Vader head at the end of the pen (which makes it almost unusable as a pen to write with) maybe the best part of the whole toy: it makes a good Vader character on-the-go for with the little bonus sound FX.
It's really a useless as a pen, but makes a fun toy for a young Star Wars fan...the fun factor fades quickly and don't expect this one to last very long!
