(More customer reviews)This projector was such a disappointment. I bought it for Christmas for my 6 yr old son who is a huge Stars Wars fan. When I purchased this I had planned on him laying in bed watching a slide show on his ceiling and listening to his favorite character, Rex, explain the different starships. NOT EVEN CLOSE! First of all the image is tiny (only about 5-6" big) and the projector has to be within 3-5 ft of the surface you are projecting the image on...so you can't use it on the ceiling. You have to have a seperate CD player (I thought it the sound would come from the unit itself) and my son has to feed strips through the projecter. He had to keep adjusting the strip back and forth to get it to line up in the right spot. Then instead of interesting facts geared for a younger audience...you get a highschool science lesson!! AWFUL!! The CD doesn't even follow it's instructions it gives for prompting the strips to be changed...
I am surprised by the other reviews. Personally, I thought they were very gracious. For me, even the educational value was gone because the "science" was way over my son's head. I paid $[...] for this and thought it was $[...] too much.
