(More customer reviews)I am very impressed by the comic book series of figures (if not by the comic books themselves). They seem superior to many of the others in not only their detailing but in their resemblance to the actual characters from the movies.
In this case, the characters are not from the movies but they are still remarkably sculpted. Thrawn looks as evil as you'd imagine him in his dazzling white uniform (which nicely offsets that blue skin) and the Force-neutralizing ysalamir wraps nicely and snugly around his neck. No fear of it falling off, even in play. Thrawn poses nicely. You can stick a pistol in his hand and have him sight along the barrel very nicely, like a duelist.
Karrde is an outstanding figure, very rugged and rough-appearing, true to his appearance in the comic books. He is also capable of some very compelling poses and both figures stand very easily on their own, which is always nice for play.

It's five years after the destruction of the second Death Star. The Rebel Alliance has established a New Republic, but its existence is threatened by the old Empire. Grand Admiral Thrawn commands the remnants of the Imperial fleet and is putting together a plan that will destroy the new government. Thrawn contacts Talon Karrde, a man with valuable information that Thrawn needs in order for his plan to succeed.
