(More customer reviews)My son, who is 5 1/2 is very into Star Wars and therefore, Lego Star Wars toys. He received quite a few as gifts for Christmas. Many of these are beyond his range and therefore were difficult to build, and most frustratingly, fall apart very easily (like the TIE fighter, Clone Walker, and Anakin's ship).
This ship is WONDERFUL for the younger set. My son built it with a little help (the directions are much clearer than on the other SW Lego toys) and was actually able to PLAY with it. If it does come apart a bit, he can usually put it back together himself.
All in all, remember to look at the age ratings Lego gives their toys - they are usually spot-on. However, if you are like me with a son who wants toys he isn't really old enough for, this one is your best bet!
